Formulation and Mode of Action

Lambda-cyhalothrin 4.9% CS is a capsule suspension (CS), where the active ingredient is encapsulated in tiny, thin-walled capsules suspended in water. These capsules release the insecticide only after the spray deposit dries on the leaf or pest surface, ensuring controlled release, prolonged residual activity, and reduced wash-off from rain or irrigation It acts as both a contact and stomach poison, disrupting insect nerve function by prolonging sodium channel activation, leading to paralysis and death The formulation provides fast knockdown and long-lasting control

• Cotton: Bollworms
• Paddy: Stem borer, leaf folder
• Brinjal, Okra, Tomato: Shoot and fruit borers
