About 2 ,4-D SWEEP

2,4-D amine salt (often formulated as 58% SL) is a selective, systemic post-emergence herbicide primarily used to control annual and perennial broadleaf weeds and sedges in cereal and grass crops (like wheat, maize, sorghum, and sugarcane). It acts by mimicking the plant hormone auxin, causing uncontrolled and abnormal growth that eventually kills the targeted weeds.

How it works: Absorbed rapidly through weed leaves and roots, the herbicide is translocated throughout the plant system, working its way from root to shoot.
Application: Typically used at a rate of 2--5 ml per liter of water (or 340 ml to 1.5 liters per acre, depending on the crop).
Target Pests: Controls problematic weeds like Chenopodium album (Bathua), Amaranthus (Pigweed), Cyperus (Nutsedge/Nut Grass), and various broadleaf aquatic weeds.

Crop Sensitivity: It is highly damaging to dicot (broad-leaved) crops. Never spray it near sensitive plants like cotton, tomatoes, okra, grapes, or soybeans, as even a small amount of spray drift can destroy them.
