Fipronil 40% + Imidacloprid 40% WG is a dual-action, broad-spectrum insecticide effective against both chewing and sucking pests in crops like cotton, paddy, vegetables, sugarcane, and orchards.

Composition and Mode of Action

This insecticide combines Fipronil (40%), a phenylpyrazole, and Imidacloprid (40%), a neonicotinoid, in a water-dispersible granule (WG) formulation Fipronil provides slow-acting residual control by disrupting the insect nervous system, while Imidacloprid acts systemically and on contact, targeting pests that feed on treated plants or touch the product  The dual-action ensures immediate knockdown and long-lasting protection, reducing repeated applications 

Target Pests

The formulation is effective against a wide range of pests, including:

• Sucking pests: Aphids, whiteflies, leafhoppers, jassids, thrips
• Chewing pests: Caterpillars, stem borers, early shoot borers
• Soil pests: White grubs, termites, ants
