About Plant Growth Regulator

Paclobutrazol 40% SC (Suspension Concentrate) is a systemic plant growth regulator used to control excessive vegetative growth by blocking gibberellin hormone production. It redirects the plants energy from making leaves and stems into root development, prolific flowering, and heavier fruit or seed sets.

Common Applications & Dosage

Mango: Applied post-harvest via collar drench around the base of the trunk. Use 8 ml per tree for those under 10 years and 16 ml for trees over 10 years.
Wheat / Cereals: Helps prevent the plant from falling over (lodging) in wind or rain by keeping stems sturdy and internodes short. Apply as a foliar spray at 40-50 ml/acre around 50-55 days after sowing.
Red Gram (Pigeon Pea): A single foliar spray of about 30 ml per acre promotes more pods and heavier seeds.
