Chlorantraniliprole 18.5 SC is a broad-spectrum insecticide used to control chewing and sucking pests across a variety of crops through foliar or soil application.

Mode of Action

Chlorantraniliprole belongs to the anthranilic diamide class and targets insect ryanodine receptors, disrupting calcium channels in muscle cells. This causes muscle contraction, paralysis, and eventual death of pests. It is effective primarily through ingestion but also has contact activity, making it suitable for controlling caterpillars, larvae of moths and butterflies, beetles, aphids, and spittlebugs

Chlorantraniliprole 18.5 SC can be used on a wide range of crops, including:

• Cereals: Rice (stem borer, leaf folder)
• Cash crops: Cotton (bollworm), sugarcane (early shoot borer, top borer)
• Vegetables: Tomato, brinjal, chili, cabbage, okra, bitter gourd
• Pulses: Pigeon pea, soybean, Bengal gram, black gram
• Other crops: Maize, groundnut
